Catholic Youth Foundation USA (CYFUSA) is building a faithful future by financially supporting the Catholic Church's pastoral ministry to, with, by, and for young people. CYFUSA partners with the Catholic faith community to underwrite resources for youth leadership development, adult ministry formation, creative programs in catechesis, service and pastoral care, and development of youth ministry programs for culturally diverse communities.
Through grant and scholarship programs, CYFUSA strengthens the faith and Catholic identity of Catholic youth and the skills and competence of the adults that minister to them.

Request for Proposals: Mississippi River Floods Response
CYFUSA is making funds available for the relief efforts for/by youth and for supporting parish and diocesan efforts at rebuilding their youth ministry programs in those dioceses affected by the 2008 floods along the Mississippi River. The following dioceses and their parishes/schools are eligible: Des Moines, Kansas City-St. Joseph, Davenport, Sioux City, and the Archdiocese of St. Louis.

Collection for CYFUSA
Over 20,000 teens gathered to celebrate Mass at NCYC in Columbus, Ohio. Our teens donated over $110,000 to the collection. Their gift makes future NCYC scholarships possible. Thank you!
Forward Together: Turning Silver into Gold
25th Anniversary Campaign
In January 2007, the National Federation for Catholic Youth Ministry celebrated its twenty-five years of service as leaders in Catholic youth ministry. The 25th Anniversary Campaign, beginning in 2004 and continuing until 2009, hopes to raise $375,000 to double the assets of the foundation.
The current pledges received are $247,325. The campaign is at 65% of its goal.
The endowment campaign guarantees that critical funding of good works, such as the annual grants program and scholarship program, will continue on behalf of Catholic youth for years to come.
Last year, the foundation received over $39,000 in requests for grant funding. We were able to provide $17,000 to eight projects. The NCYC scholarship program received over $168,000 in financial aid requests. We were only able to provide $60,000 in economic need scholarships. Our hope is to someday be able to provide financial assistance to all those in need.
